瑪姬是放蕩不羈的派對女王，而蘿絲是個正經八百的女律師，兩個不對盤的女人，居然是同一個媽生的，像是兩個星球來的兩姐妹，除了鞋子同樣穿八號半以外，全身上下全無共通點。直到瑪姬闖下滔天大禍，讓蘿絲終於無法忍受，這對姐妹花正式宣告決裂…在這段單獨面對世界的日子裡，她們漸漸懂得去接納並欣賞彼此，再加上她們因為找到了原以為早已過世的外婆，將姐妹的心結打開…她們不再是為著高跟鞋計較的姐妹，她們真心祝福彼此，能走到更遠的地方…

這是來到澳洲後第一次完整看完英文版的電影，每次在學校借電影回家，總是沒看完，因為單子太多都懶得看完它。這部片我完整的看完它也了解這個故事。我花了好長的時間查單字，大概看了好幾天。

這是敘述一對姊妹的故事，看到最後妹妹在姊姊結婚的時後唸了一段詩，我當場感動的眼淚奪框而出(可見我一聽到這首詩馬上就懂了)，所以跟大家分享這一段詩，相信看過的朋友一定能深刻體會這首詩的意境，沒看過這部片的朋友，也可以去租來看喔!!
